Abstract. . .  Europe and the United States has increased significantly over the past few years. Figure 8 shows 80-kW thin-film CdTe array deployed in Dimbach, Germany, using FS modules. The electricity generated is sold to the local utilities. The world’s largest polycrystalline thin-film 480-kW solar field shown in Figure 9 is deployed in Springerville, Arizona, by the local utility company Tucson Electric Power using thin-film CdTe modules supplied by FS.
