Consequently, opportunities for reaching a higher penetration of these technologies into the energy market will become greater through time. From the community participation and involvement which has taken place throughout the Altener project it is clear that Island people wish to work in partnership with the Council in creating a sustainable future, within which renewable energy will play an increasingly important part.
